We refer to the query letter dated 23 July 2007 from Bursa Malaysia Berhad (Bursa Malaysia) in relation to the article which appeared in The NST, BizNews section, Page 34, on Saturday, 21 July 2007, Bonia Corporation Berhad (“Bonia” or “the Company”) wishes to make the following clarification after making due and diligent enquiry with all directors, major shareholders and all such other persons reasonably familiar with the matter.

1) ".... for the year just ended June 30, 2007,… expects net profit to be slightly less than double of last year”
We wish to inform Bursa Malaysia that Bonia’s and it’s subsidiaries’ (the “Group”) accounts for the financial year ended 30 June 2007 are currently being prepared. As such, the above statement made by our Group Managing Director, Mr Chiang Heng Kieng was based on the following basis :-
i) The unaudited results for the 9 months ended 31 March 2007 which achieved a net profit of RM19.68 million; and
ii) 3 months internal budgeting target ended 30 June 2007 set by the Company which takes into consideration of the current sales performance during the period.

2) “…expect to almost double its revenue to RM500 million by 2010, ….”
This statement was made base on our internal Mission and Vision 2010 statement.

We wish to clarify that the above statements should not be construed as profit forecast and has not been and will not be reviewed by the external auditors.

This announcement is dated 24 July 2007.

We refer to the above news article appearing in the Star, Biznews section, Page
34, Saturday, 21 July 2007 , a copy of which is enclosed for your reference.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the underlined
sentences, which are reproduced as follows:-
"......for the year just ended June 30 2007,.....expects net profit to be
slightly less than double of last year."
"......expects to almost double its revenue to RM500 million by
2010,................."
