The Board of Directors of Bonia Corporation Berhad ("Bonia" or "Company") wishes to announce that ACTIVE WORLD PTE LTD, a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Bonia had on 22 November 2010 incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary in Singapore, known as ACTIVE FOOTWEAR PTE LTD ("AFW").
AFW's current issued and paid-up share capital is SGD1.00 comprising 1 ordinary share of SGD1.00 each. Its intended principal activities are marketing, retailing and distribution of fashionable footwear.
The incorporation of AFW has no material effect on the earnings per share, net tangible assets per share, share capital and the substantial shareholdings of the Company for the financial year ending 30 June 2011.
None of the Directors and major shareholders or persons connected to the Directors or major shareholders of Bonia and its subsidiaries have any interest, direct or indirect, in the incorporation of AFW.
