Bonia Corporation Berhad (“Bonia” or “Company”) wishes to inform that an application for dissolution of CRG Viet Nam Company Limited (“CRGVN”) from the register of the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh BRO Business Registration Office (“DPIH”), was submitted on 12 January 2018 and the Receipt Slip of Online Business Registration Dossier of the said application issued by DPIH was received by the Company on 15 March 2018.

CRGVN, a dormant entity, is a wholly-owned subsidiary company of CRG Incorporated Sdn. Bhd. (“CRG”), which in turn is a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. The original cost of investment of CRG in CRGVN is VND5,940,000,000.

The dissolution of CRGVN is part of Bonia’s continued initiative to eliminate unnecessary administrative costs in maintaining dormant subsidiaries. The dissolution is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings or net assets of the Bonia Group for the financial year ending 30 June 2018.

None of the Directors or major shareholders of the Company, or persons connected with them, has any interest, direct or indirect, in the dissolution of CRGVN and no approval of shareholders is required.
