The Board of Directors of Bonia Corporation Berhad (“the Company”) wishes to announce that the Company had on 30 April 2010 incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary company in Malaysia known as ALPHA FOOTWEAR SDN BHD (“AFSB”).
The current authorised share capital of AFSB is RM100,000.00 comprising 100,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each of which 2 ordinary shares had been issued and fully paid-up. The intended principal activities of AFSB are marketing, retailing and distribution of men’s and ladies’ footwear.
The incorporation of AFSB has no material effect on the earnings per share, net tangible assets per share, share capital and the substantial shareholdings of the Company for the financial year ending 30 June 2010.
None of the Directors and major shareholders or persons connected to the Directors or major shareholders of the Company and its subsidiaries have any interest, direct or indirect, in the incorporation of AFSB.
