1) Bonus issue of up to 201,571,850 new ordinary shares of RM0.50 each in Bonia Corporation Berhad ("Bonia") ("Bonia Share(s)") ("Bonus Share(s)") to be credited as fully paid-up, on the basis of one (1) Bonus Share for every one (1) existing Bonia Share. 2) Share split involving the subdivision of every one (1) ordinary share of RM0.50 each in Bonia Corporation Berhad ("Bonia") ("Bonia Share(s)") (i.e existing and new Bonia Shares to be issued pursuant to the bonus issue of one (1) Bonus Share for every one (1) existing Bonia Share ("Bonus Share(s)") into two (2) ordinary shares of RM0.25 each in Bonia ("Subdivided Share(s)").
Kindly be advised of the following :
1) The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted [ "Ex - All" ] as from : [ 18 July 2014 ]
2) The last date of lodgement : [ 22 July 2014 ]
3) Retention Money : Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned :-
a) Selling Broker to deduct [1/2] , of the Selling Price against the Selling Client.
b) Buying Broker to deduct [50%] of the Purchase Price against the Buying Client.
c) Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of [ 1/2 ] of the Transacted Price is applicable.
Remarks 1):- "Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place on 23 July 2014 with Bonus issue and Share split of BONIA shares of RM 0.25 each, any shareholder who is entitled to receive BONIA Bonus issue and Share split shares, may now sell any or all of his BONIA shares arising from the Bonus issue and Share split beginning the Ex-Date ( 18 July 2014 ).
For example, if Mr X purchases 100 BONIA shares on cum basis on 17 July 2014, Mr X should receive 100 shares on 22 July 2014. As a result of the Bonus issue and Share split, a total of 400 BONIA shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 22 July 2014 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell the Bonus issue and Share split shares of 400 on or after the Ex-Date ie from 18 July 2014 onwards."
Remarks 2):- The Bonus Issue will be undertaken concurrently with the Share Split. The Share Split will be undertaken after the issuance of the Bonus Shares pursuant to the Bonus Issue. Hence, the Bonus Shares to be issued shall be in the form of the Subdivided Shares.
The listing and quotation for the Bonus Shares (ie. Subdivided Shares) on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Main Market") shall take place on 23 July 2014, being the next market day immediately following the entitlement date.
The registrar of Bonia is expected to issue and despatch the notice of allotment to all the entitled shareholders whose name appear in the Record of Depositors of Bonia on the entitlement date within four (4) market days after the date the Bonus Shares (ie. Subdivided Shares) are listed and quoted on the Main Market.
Remarks 3):- The Share Split will be undertaken concurrently with the Bonus Issue. The Share Split will be undertaken after the issuance of the Bonus Shares pursuant to the Bonus Issue.
